Section Leadership Committee (SLC) meetings are usually held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. We are not meeting in July and have a Strategic Planning Session scheduled for Saturday, August 10. We welcome any and all members to join us and help guide and direct our section activities.
CRITICAL DESIGN REVIEW for Corrective and Preventive Action
Please help. We have been invited to be part of the Critical Design Review of a new, web-based, Corrective and Preventive Action & Action Item Management System™ (CAPA-AIMS). It was designed to be simple to set up and use and fully compliant with all major QMS standards and regulations. Please put CAPA-AIMS through all its paces and then give us your feedback. To participate, please sign up for the free, Open Beta at http://capa-aims.com/trialsignup.php
Who Wants to Manage our Website?
We need a volunteer to serve as Internet Liaison for our section to maintain our website, our LinkedIn page, our Facebook page and send email communications to our members. No experience necessary. No geeky HTML programming. All the platforms are user-friendly. You only need an interest to learn and be able to commit about four hours a month. A sense of humor is a big plus! A bonus is that you get to serve on the Section Leadership Committee and can guide the direction of the section.
Please email Cindy Butler.
Hurry, this offer won't last long!!
If you are interested in getting involved in the section leadership and plan to attend an SLC meeting, please contact Vicki Farwell at Chair@asqtidewater.org in advance for location and badging information.
This website is designed for ASQ Tidewater members. Its purpose is to provide you with a handy reference to the resources of your section: Events, activities, trainings, tours, volunteer opportunities, and lots of ways for our members to grow (including mentorships and gaining recertification credits).
Welcome New ASQ Section Members in May 2013
